WELCOME FROM THE PRINCIPAL and THE PASTOR
PRINCIPAL: LESLIE JONES
Dear St. Agatha Families,
I am truly honored to accept this role and look forward to working alongside you. Together, I am confident that we will continue to provide our students with a rigorous, enriching, and faith-filled learning environment. Our efforts will continue to promote the advancement and achievement of all students at St. Agatha.
As I enter my thirteenth year in education, I have been blessed with eight years as an elementary educator and four years as a principal. I am honored to begin my fifth year as the principal at St. Agatha. As your principal, I will be a resource for our community by upholding our school mission that focuses on academic and spiritual growth for all students. I am confident that our school will continue to be a place where students can learn and grow
academically and as disciples of Christ.
I am very grateful for the welcome that I have received from the faculty and staff, in addition to the School Advisory Council and Parents in Partnership. I am honored to be a part of this wonderful community and I look forward to meeting each of you in person.
PASTOR: FATHER LUAN
We thank God for every day. Everything we have is thanks to Him. This includes our magnificent school. Our parish’s main ministry, our school is a thriving example of the Good in our community. Our various outreach programs to help those in physical, financial and spiritual need are our St. Vincent de Paul chapter and the Thrifty Cottage. The Adoration Chapel (open 24/7) is a mainstay ministry of prayer for our parish, community and beyond. Our devoted Altar Society, Respect Life Committee, Knights of Columbus, and St. Agatha Men’s Group all demonstrate the spiritual vitality and echo Christ’s presence in our community. The Communion and Liberation Movement has also relocated their local chapter to St. Agatha Catholic Parish.
My hope is that every parishioner will think of him/herself as an ambassador for our parish, bringing the new evangelization – the good news of Jesus Christ – to all we meet.
If you are moving to our community, or just thinking about it, we invite you to join us for one or more of our Sunday or Wednesday morning masses (8:30 am). You are also invited to vespers, the official prayer of the church, (5pm) on Sundays. Experience St. Agatha’s warm hospitality!
May the Lord always be with you
Father Luan Tran
